Au Revoir….for now

Weather and personal circumstances have kept me and my camera in for a while, so I don’t have much to post about.

I could raid my photo archives and post some photowalks from the days when I went hillwalking in Snowdonia – those were the days. However, I would regard that as short-changing you. Those were the pre-sciatica days and the pre-dslr days when my photography experience was snapping-away with a point and shoot camera and an aperture triangle was the view I had of the summits ahead of me.

For those who have bothered to view my posts – and especially for those who have liked or commented on any of them – thank you. As Arnie somebody said (not just sciatica but brain decay) ‘I’ll be back’. Please look out for my email notifications when I get a chance to write something that I feel you might like to see – otherwise, comment if you’re happy for me to delve into my mountain photos and memories, but you’d be taking pot-luck on my memory awaking, when I see the photographs after six years or more, to describe accurately what you see.

The shot was taken in Wales approaching the summit of Mynydd Moel along the Minffordd path on the way to Cadair Idris (or Pen y Gadair in Welsh).

The EXIF data are a bit academic really. I was using my point-and-shoot Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 camera, fully automatic. Nevertheless, the settings are given as: 1/250 secs @ f/3.3 and 4.3 mm. The ISO was 100.
