For the first time (it seems) in ages, I took a walk along a local footpath and local lanes in St Helens, Merseyside – just me and my camera.
Just for a change – and to remind me what it used to be like – I left behind my little cropped-sensor, Fuji X-T4, mirrorless camera and took my travel tripod and my Pentax K-1, full-frame dslr camera. The added difference in weight alone reminded me of why I bought the Fuji.
My two mile route took me initially along a narrow, muddy footpath, and an avenue of bent hawthorn bushes which are the subject of my Featured Photo today. The footpath led me towards a lane at which I turned left past the fields and farms shown in my other images today.
The trees, ploughed furrows and clouds made me glad that I had decided to make it a photography walk.

EXIF data were: I was using my 36 MP full-frame Pentax K-1 dslr camera plus a Pentax 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens @ 1/13 seconds, f/13, and 70 mm. The ISO was100.
