Today, we continue out stroll around MediaCity UK, although by now lights are being switched on as sunset is on it’s way. As the sign on the gate says, the highly mirrored building above is Quay West.

The lights are now visible as reflections in the water. To the left are BBC studios and Salford University’s tower block while, to the right is the Lowry Theatre, seen from a different viewpoint than yesterday’s featured photo.

Above, the television studios of the BBC and ITV face each other across the bridge. You will probably have noticed that the entire complex is quite compact and easily walkable.

A slightly different viewpoint and a closer look at the BBC studios and, on the right, Salford University. I imagine that you can see how much darker the sky is now.

And so to our final photo of the afternoon before we move into evening. Tomorrow, we conclude our walk with a peep at the festive lighting. The circular building is the Lowry Theatre again.
Featured Photo
Our photo of the day was taken slightly earlier in the afternoon than the photos in the story section of this post. You will certainly be able to see how much lighter he sky was at that time. The image is almost the same scene as above – the viewpoint has hardly changed, only the light and the reflections.
EXIF data: All photographs were taken using my Fujifilm X-T4 26 MP cropped-sensor, mirrorless camera together with A Fujinon XF 16-55 mm f/2.8 lens. Shutter speed 1/20 secs @f/4 and 16 mm. ISO was 1600.
