Blackpool 25/09/2021 Fireworks #1

The fireworks display was advertised as part of the World Fireworks Championships. The contestant on the evening I watched was the Irish team. The next display, on 9th October would feature a show by a German team.

This orange burst signalled the start of the event which was being mounted from a position a hundred meters or so North of where I was standing, peering over peoples shoulders and between the heads of children who were sitting on the railings.

Most of my images are heavily cropped in order, where possible, to edit out children’s heads.

From here onwards, I’ll simply show some more photographs – with more to follow in my next post.

That’s all for today’s post, folks – but more photos of the display tomorrow.

I’ve used another fireworks image to complete today’s first set.

EXIF data were: 2 seconds @ f/7.1 and 19 mm. ISO was 160.
