Another afternoon in Liverpool #3

Once I’d finished photographing in the cathedral I walked down towards Canning Dock through the Saturday afternoon streets with my camera.

The first photo that I took as I walked was of the above Lambanana that I hadn’t seen before, in a side street in East Village off Bold Street.

The street-art installation above was something else that I hadn’t seen before. It looked as if it had been there a while. It reminded me somehow of a fairground with a sci-fi touch.

I had seen and photographed the umbrellas in Church Alley, Liverpool One before, but I couldn’t resist photographing them again. They cheered me up with their bright colours against the blue sky. I liked them so much that I’ve included a couple more photographs of them for this post. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did.

My personal favourite of the umbrella photos. I took the shot with my Fujifilm X-T426 MP mirrorless crop sensor camera, using a Fujinon XF 16-55 mm f/2.8 lens.

I’ll conclude this Liverpool series tomorrow with some more street shots.

EXIF data were: 1/320 secs @ f/5.6 and 18.7 mm. ISO was 160 and this and all todays shots were handheld.
