Bridges #6

As promised, some sunset shots from Queensferry.

This image is from the small harbour in South Queensferry, looking towards the Forth Road Bridge with the Queensferry Crossing in the distance behind it.

Walking eastwards from South Queensferry harbour towards the rail bridge, the sunset colour is less detectable; the sky is still blue, though the red of the bridge is more orange and the white of the buildings on Hawes Pier is becoming more golden.

From the East side of the rail bridge the Sun is now lower and providing a sunstar for me.

Looking towards the Road Bridge and the Crossing from Hawes Pier just after sunset.

Featured Photo

I’ll post a couple of daytime photos tomorrow of those other two bridges that I’ve mentioned above.

Today’s featured photo is my favourite of my sunset shots of the Forth Rail Bridge.

I took the image with my Pentax KP 24 MP cropped sensor camera and a Pentax 16-85 mm f/2.8 lens.

EXIF data were: 1/500 secs @ f/5 and 28 mm. ISO 200.
