Continuing my account about my day out with my local Ramblers Group.

The photo shows some of the group members inside the walls of Gorsdale Scar. The body language of some of them shows how high the feature extends. Meanwhile, one member re-ties her bootlaces, ready for the next yomp.

Looking back, from within the Scar, along the path from which we came to it. To the right of the image you can see the climb that we tackled next from beyond the tree on the hillside.

A final glimpse back into the Scar as we prepare to depart.

Onwards towards Malham Tarn.
