Having told you that I would be leaving when my current Business subscription expires, I have now decided to downgrade to a lesser plan – so I’ll be continuing to post for a while longer at least.
I plod on with more photos from my Scottish trip. For the next few days, this last batch from that visit feature places and people that I saw during the four hours that I spent in Edinburgh itself.

A lone, kilted piper playing just off Princes Street

A different piper, a different tune and in a different area of the city

My featured image today ventures into street photography. I saw this man leaving a cafe in the Grassmarket area of the city. I was struck by his ‘Superman’ themed suit. I also liked the ‘felicitous conjunction’ of the man (a pedestrian), a bicycle, and a street sign warning that this was a ‘Pedestrian and Cycle Zone.’
I took the photo using my Fujifilm XT-4 mirrorless camera plus a Fuji XF 16-55 f/2.8 lens at 1/55 seconds, f/5.6, 16 mm and ISO 160.
I don’t comment very often, so please excuse that angle, but I’m quite glad that you’ll be staying with us, at least for a little while. I really enjoy your work…

Thank you for your encouraging comment, Brian. It was because of a comment like yours, suggesting that I downsize from a business subscription to a lower cost or free one, that I decided to continue but using an Premium subscription for the next year.
